  • We do NOT work on a first come first serve basis when it comes to allocating bookings. We book based on what suits your availability, practicality, fairness, location and past experience. We book shift’s directly on our bespoke app, there’s no need to stay vigilant on waiting for shifts to appear in a group chat.

  • Yes, that’s the beauty of a locum role with S4S Team! You’re in charge of your schedule and travel preferences. Let us know your requirements, and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • We’ll give you as much notice as possible and the large majority of our shifts are pre-booked. Sometimes however shifts may come up last minute so flexibility is key.

  • We pay on a monthly basis, we find this helps our team best stay organised with bills and outgoings. Payday is always the last working day of the month.

  • We help our locum dental nurses stay GDC-compliant by offering a CPD subscription, CPD nights in partnership with a registered training provider, and offer exclusive discounts with local training providers.

  • To register, you’ll need your GDC registration, nursing certificate, proof of indemnity insurance, an enhanced DBS check (within 3 years), and a valid CPR and Level 2 Safeguarding CPD certificate. Don’t worry if you’re unsure—we’ll guide you through it all!
